Abe Weiss, Partner

Abe is the founding partner of Weiss & Company LLP. He has over 40 years of experience in accounting and taxation. He specializes in tax planning, and trust and estate planning, with an emphasis on foreign tax and estate matters, foreign tax credits, transfer pricing, etc. He assists many clients in structuring their foreign investments in the optimum manner and frequently travels all over the world to meet clients and their professionals. He also has close connections with tax attorneys and accountants all around the world to be able to assist clients. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).

Lezer Loewy, Partner

Lezer is a partner at Weiss & Company LLP. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting and taxation and has relationships with many banks to assist clients in obtaining financing. He has successfully settled many IRS and state tax audits, both on the audit level and the appeals level. He also specializes in international tax matters, such as GILTI rules that affect the US shareholders of foreign corporations, treaty benefits, etc. Furthermore, he also does work advising high net-worth clients with succession and estate planning, structuring business acquisitions, mergers, and sales of businesses. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Scott Rubin, Manager

Scott is a senior manager at Weiss & Company LLP. He has over 35 years of experience in tax, accounting, auditing, and financial statement preparation. He specializes in tax planning and compliance for individuals and business entities. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He holds an MBA in accounting and finance from Columbia University.
